PLUS: AI for business automation playbook

AI is a tool, not a leader.

It can write, but it can't think.

It can respond, but it can't empathize.

It can calculate, but it can't judge.

That’s why top executives are prioritizing human skills more than ever. The future isn’t AI vs. humans. It’s AI + the right humans.

Be one of them.

BILLION-DOLLAR PERSON

AI will build billion-dollar people - not companies

Created with Ideogram

There was a time when technology meant more jobs. Factories needed workers. Computers needed operators. But now? AI isn’t asking for help it’s taking over.

Companies love it. Less payroll, more profit. The message is clear: automate everything, cut down on people, and scale up.

But what if this isn’t just about companies getting richer?

What if AI is shifting power away from corporations and toward individuals?

A different kind of economy Is taking shape

  • For centuries, people have had to fit into systems built for efficiency. Now, AI can handle much of that efficiency on its own.

  • That means what matters most isn’t how fast or how much you produce it’s the human skills you bring to the table.

  • The ability to think in new ways, connect with others, and create something unique is becoming more valuable, not less.

The solo revolution

  • If AI can run entire business functions, why does anyone need a big company behind them?

  • One person with the right tools can now do the work of an entire team, reaching customers, building products, and scaling faster than ever.

  • Instead of traditional jobs, we could see networks of small, independent workers collaborating without a corporate structure holding them together.

  • Passion, expertise, and creativity could become the new currency, as technology removes the barriers that used to make independence risky.

Here’s what I think:

AI isn’t just changing work it’s changing who holds the power. The old rules don’t apply anymore. People who learn how to use these tools won’t be looking for jobs. They’ll be building something of their own.

The question I have for everyone reading: Will we take advantage of this shift, or wait for someone else to decide what happens next?

CHINA’S AI WAR

Is it control of progress?

A few years ago, China had its wake-up call in AI. A foreign-made program beat its best player in Go, a game considered the peak of human strategy. That loss wasn’t just about a board game it signaled that China was falling behind in artificial intelligence.

Since then, the country has poured resources into catching up. And now, a new name has emerged: DeepSeek.

This AI company did something few thought possible. It built a powerful model with limited access to the cutting-edge chips that dominate AI research. It’s a technological win that proves China can innovate under pressure. But success in AI doesn’t just bring scientific prestige it also raises political questions.

Innovation vs. Oversight

  • China’s approach to AI has shifted between encouragement and strict regulation, depending on its global standing.

  • With DeepSeek’s rise, there’s growing confidence that Chinese AI can compete with American tech. But confidence often leads to more control.

Created with Ideogram

  • The Chinese government has a history of stepping in when technology spreads too far or fast, especially when it touches areas like information, security, or finance.

What people are not seeing and understanding:

  • AI is central to China’s long-term strategy not just for economic growth, but also for national security and global influence.

  • DeepSeek’s technology is open-source, which aligns with China’s push to present itself as a leader in AI for developing nations.

  • At the same time, there’s a limit to how much freedom Chinese companies can have, especially when AI models start shaping public conversation.

Here’s what I think:

China wants AI dominance, but it also wants control. The real test isn’t whether Chinese companies can build world-class AI that’s already happening. The test is whether the government will let AI develop freely or tighten its grip as soon as it becomes too powerful.

Because when technology moves faster than regulation, something has to give. The question is: what will China choose? (It seems control to me!)

UK BANNED AI APPS

UK against AI-generated child abuse is just AMAZING

The internet has always been a double-edged sword bringing connection and knowledge, but also creating dark corners where the worst crimes thrive. Now, artificial intelligence is making things worse.

The UK isn’t waiting for the problem to spiral. It’s about to become the first country to criminalize AI tools used to create child sexual abuse material.

What’s changing?

  • AI-generated abuse images will be illegal to create, share, or possess—punishable by up to five years in prison.

  • AI “pedophile manuals” that teach people how to abuse children with AI will also be banned, with up to three years in prison.

  • Websites that host or encourage child abuse content could see operators jailed for up to ten years.

This is important because:

  • AI is being used to manipulate real images taking innocent photos and turning them into explicit content.

  • Criminals are “stitching” children’s faces onto abusive material, making it harder to track real victims.

  • The dark web is already flooded with this content. In just one month, thousands of AI-generated abuse images were found on a single site.

Here’s what I think:

Technology is evolving faster than the laws meant to control it. AI isn’t just changing how we work or communicate it’s changing crime itself. The UK’s move is a clear signal: AI can’t be a shield for those who exploit children. Period.

The real question is: Will other countries act just as fast?
