APPLE INTELLIGENCE 📱

Apple is set to roll out its much-anticipated Apple Intelligence features starting this October, but not all the AI tools will be available immediately. Instead, Apple plans a staggered release, starting with iOS 18.1 on October 28, 2024.

Here’s what to expect from the upcoming updates:

Release Timeline for Apple Intelligence Features:

iOS 18.1 (October 28)

iOS 18.2 (December)

iOS 18.4 (March 2025)

Writing Tools: AI-powered grammar checks, rewriting suggestions, and text summaries.

Genmoji: AI-generated emojis based on text or photos.

Siri Overhaul: Personalized and contextual responses

Photo Enhancements: “Clean Up” tool to remove unwanted elements from photos, and Memory Movies based on descriptions.

Image Playground: Create AI-driven images, similar to Google’s Pixel Studio.

Phone Call Recording & Summaries: Auto-transcription of recorded calls.

Siri: Improved comprehension, allowing follow-up questions and on-screen troubleshooting.

Mail: Inbox reorganizations, summaries, and smart replies.

Who Can Access Apple Intelligence?

The AI features will only be available on select devices, including the iPhone 16 models and iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max. Other iPhones running iOS 18 can still receive updates but won’t support Apple Intelligence features.

Apple begins rolling out these exciting tools with iOS 18.1 later this month, more advanced features like Genmoji and the Siri overhaul will arrive in future updates.
