Here's everything you need to know:

  • You can now ask ChatGPT to plan events, analyze competitors, update spreadsheets, or book your next dinner party—and it will do it end-to-end.

  • The agent uses multiple tools: a visual browser, a text browser, a terminal, and APIs, all controlled by ChatGPT.

  • It combines past tools like Operator (web interaction) and deep research (information synthesis) into a single, fluid system.

  • ChatGPT can adapt to your needs: browse the web, log into sites securely, prompt you when needed, and deliver editable files.

  • Safety stays central. It confirms before acting, lets you pause or steer tasks, and limits data exposure with clear privacy controls.

  • The agent already outperforms previous models across tasks in research, data science, finance, and spreadsheet manipulation.

Here’s what I think:

ChatGPT agent is a quiet leap forward. It shifts AI from a tool you consult to a partner that gets things done. That changes the equation. Less about what it knows, more about what it can do for you. The real question now is: what do you want off your plate?

Google’s AI just made business calls obsolete

Google is rolling out an agentic AI calling feature across the U.S. It can call local businesses, ask questions, and report back; no talking required.

Here’s everything you need to know:

  • The new feature lets Google AI gather info like availability and pricing on your behalf.

  • Just search “pet groomers near me,” and you’ll see an option to “Have AI check pricing.”

  • You answer a few prompts, and the AI makes the call, clearly identifying itself.

  • This rollout follows limited tests via Search Labs earlier this year.

  • Google is also upgrading AI Mode with Gemini 2.5 Pro for Pro and Ultra subscribers.

  • A new “Deep Search” capability offers research-style reports by analyzing hundreds of results.

Here’s what I think:

This is agentic AI at its most useful, doing the tasks you don’t want to. The line between assistant and agent is disappearing fast. What once felt like science fiction is now a browser tab away.

Apple just added a new puzzle game to its News+ service. And it’s not just about fun, it’s a smart play for attention.

Here’s what I think about this:

The line between media and entertainment keeps blurring. Apple’s move isn’t just a gimmick, it’s a calculated shift in how we consume news. As attention becomes the rarest currency, those who gamify it may win.
