Personalization sounds powerful, but ease still wins. Users are used to passive algorithms that just “get it.” Asking them to train AI manually might be a hard sell unless it comes with zero friction and lots of dopamine. Otherwise, the timeline may remain more auto than custom.

• Others will likely lean harder into AI using fewer workers and more automation to offset talent gaps.

Here’s what I have to say:

America’s tech dominance has always depended on a mix of homegrown and international talent. Raising the price of access might feel like a win politically but it could fast-track the very future some hope to avoid: one where AI and offshoring replace what visas used to enable.
