Plus: Claude AI interviewer, Meta's new AI support assistant, and a breakthrough you must know about

Today, Meta is trying to fix one of its biggest pain points: support. It’s rolling out a centralized help hub and AI assistant for Facebook and Instagram a long-overdue move that could finally make getting account help less maddening. Also Anthropic launched something that flips the script on AI research: an AI that interviews us. With “Anthropic Interviewer,” Claude conducted 1,250 conversations to understand how professionals are actually using and feeling about AI. The results? Honest, messy, and surprisingly human.

In today’s post:

  • How 1,250 pros are actually using AI at work

  • Meta’s new AI support assistant is here. Will it help?

  • Harvey just raised $160M. Here's why it matters

Anthropic’s new interview tool just revealed something interesting

Anthropic just ran 1,250 interviews with professionals using AI. But they didn’t use people to do it. They used Claude.

Here’s everything you need to know:

  • Anthropic built Anthropic Interviewer, a tool powered by Claude to run deep, adaptive interviews at scale.

  • In its first test, it interviewed 1,000 general professionals, 125 creatives, and 125 scientists.

  • 65% of people say AI helps them augment their work but actual usage patterns suggest more automation than they realize.

  • Creatives feel more productive using AI, but they're navigating peer stigma and real fears about economic displacement.

  • Scientists mostly use AI for code, writing, and review not hypothesis generation and still don’t trust it for core research.

  • Across all groups, satisfaction is high, but trust and long-term confidence are shaky.

  • Most professionals imagine a future where they manage AI, not compete with it shifting from task-doers to AI-overseers.

  • Anthropic plans to use this tool to keep surfacing real-world feedback and train Claude accordingly.

This marks a shift in how we gather data on AI’s societal impact and a reminder that human-AI interaction is more nuanced than productivity stats alone. Most people aren’t asking “Can AI replace me?” anymore. They’re asking, “What do I want AI to do for me?” That’s a very different question.

Meta launches centralized help hub for Facebook + Instagram

Meta just rolled out a new support center for Facebook and Instagram. It’s designed to fix one of its most frustrating issues: account recovery.

Here’s everything you need to know:

  • The new hub combines all support options into one place reporting issues, recovering accounts, and using an AI assistant for help.

  • A major focus is on fixing account recovery with clearer steps, better device recognition, optional selfie video ID, and smarter alerts.

  • The AI assistant (currently in testing) helps users recover accounts, manage profiles, and adjust settings. Facebook gets it first.

  • Meta says AI already cut global account hacks by 30% and reduced mistaken bans but user trust is still shaky.

  • A growing number of users report being locked out of accounts with no human help, prompting lawsuits and even a Reddit group for people suing Meta.

  • Meta hopes this centralized hub + AI combo will rebuild user trust and speed up support, especially for small businesses hit hardest.

  • The new changes are live globally on iOS and Android though Meta’s history of moving settings around may still confuse users.

Meta’s biggest problem isn’t bad support. It’s invisible support. If this new hub gives users even a sliver of clarity especially during an account loss crisis that’s a win. But AI help only works if people feel like someone’s actually listening.

BREAKTHROUGH

AI is finally cracking the legal industry

Most of the AI hype goes to model builders. But Harvey an AI startup focused on legal workflows just hit an $8B valuation. And it’s a signal that vertical AI is starting to get real traction.

Here’s everything you need to know:

  • Harvey raised $160M this week, bringing its 2025 total to $760M and tripling ARR to $150M.

  • Its tools are used by ~50% of Am Law 100 firms, plus companies like Comcast, Repsol, and Bridgewater.

  • The new product? Shared virtual legal workspaces so in-house teams and firms can collaborate without leaking sensitive data.

  • Harvey’s pitch: AI doesn’t replace lawyers. It handles the heavy lifting (drafts, case law, contracts) so lawyers can focus on strategy.

  • Big VCs are on board Andreessen Horowitz led the round, with backing from T. Rowe Price, Sequoia, Kleiner, and Elad Gil.

  • Competition is heating up. Legora, Luminance, CoCounsel, and even OpenAI are lurking in this space.

  • Harvey’s edge: deep legal integrations, product complexity, and speed. “This is an industry tech hasn’t really touched,” said CEO Winston Weinberg.

We’re watching the real vertical SaaS playbook for AI unfold not just a wrapper on GPT, but infrastructure, workflows, and compliance baked in. Harvey isn’t just trying to build legal Copilot. It wants to be the OS for modern law.
