UPDATE FROM OPENAI:

OpenAI's Secret Upgrade Revealed

OpenAI doesn’t like revealing what they do from behind.

OpenAI has been quietly enhancing ChatGPT, and now, it’s official—there’s a new GPT-4o model in town. While the details are limited, the latest version promises improved speed, responsiveness, and creativity.

OpenAI confirmed the update via a post on X.

The update rolled out silently, with no major announcements.

Speculation is widespread, with some believing it’s a larger version of GPT-4o, while others think it’s a fine-tuned model.

Whether it’s a fine-tuned version or something entirely new, this upgrade has made ChatGPT better. Dive in and explore the changes yourself—you might be pleasantly surprised.

NOKIA X Swisscom Broadcast:

Nokia AI Drones—A Glimpse into the Future?

People thought Nokia is dead or smth.

Nokia and Swisscom Broadcast have launched the world’s largest Drones-as-a-Service network, designed to boost Switzerland’s emergency response capabilities. With AI-driven eyes in the sky, the future of public safety is taking flight.

The platform, Nokia Drone Networks, is tailored for large-scale public and commercial operators.

Drones equipped with multi-sensor cameras, including infrared and thermal, are controlled remotely.

AI models manage these drones, providing operational evaluations and more.

5G wireless tech enables beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) control.

While the technology promises enhanced safety, its potential for surveillance raises concerns. As this tech spreads globally, the balance between security and privacy will be crucial.

APPLE INTELLIGENCE:

Apple Intelligence—Free for Now, But What’s Next?

Apple has introduced new AI features under the banner of Apple Intelligence.

While these tools are currently free, experts predict that a paid tier might be on the horizon in about three years.

I don’t think they will make their AI features paid.

But I can be wrong.

Analysts suggest Apple could charge up to $20 for these features eventually.

The long-term plan is to develop a premium AI tier with additional features.

Before charging, Apple needs to expand its AI services globally and enhance its offerings.

Enjoy Apple Intelligence while it’s free. As the company refines its AI tools, a subscription model could become the norm. The countdown to 2027 has begun.
